Have we even told you about Dayna's friends? Well here is a short description about each villager in Dayna's town she was friends with.
Skye: Skye has a normal personality. She is shy and caring, and may get upset easily. When she asks Dayna for favors, she often compliments her speed (even if the favor actually takes a while to complete). She wakes up at 5 AM like other normal villagers.
Poppy: Poppy has a normal personality, which means she is very friendly and likes to talk to Dayna. She rarely gets mad, even if she is hit with a net. But doing so may make her depressed. She will act motherly to Dayna and other villagers. She will act sweet and hospitable to Dayna. The only mean thing she has been known to do is tell another villager that they need to change their catchphrase, but she never does this in a "snooty" way.
Zell: Zell is a smug villager, so he is very kind and polite. He is easy to befriend, and will get along with other villagers quite easily. He is very optimistic.
Chow: As a cranky villager, Chow will appear mature compared to other personality types. This will make him appear belittling and insensitive to other villagers, including Dayna. Despite this, he learned to confide in Dayna, considering her his only friend.
Pippy: As a peppy villager, Pippy will always appear in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including Dayna, making it easy to befriend her. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask Dayna for bugs or fish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future and reads Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty and peppy villagers. . She will get on well with normal, lazy, jock and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat personality.
Pecan: As a snooty villager, Pecan first appeared rude and arrogant towards Dayna, often talking about herself and her fashion, but became nice and pleasurable when the conversation was mature and cool. She also talks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She soon warmed up to Dayna, confiding in them about her own feelings but still keeping subtly rude.
Beau: Beau often discusses his favorite topic - food, as any lazy villager does.His future goal is to become mayor himself. He prefers a lot of light in his window and coffee, no sugar, in his cup.
Part 19
The day after the kiss, Dayna and K.K announced their first kiss and all of Dayna's friends that were girls (we'll call them girlfriends), were asking Dayna millions of questions about it.
That wasn't all. Dayna also agreed to help the Able Sisters on Sundays to sew clothes. Dayna would sew the clothes with Sable. Dayna would thread the sewing machine and stitch the clothes while Sable sorted the fabric.
Dayna also summoned all of the important people in Coylton to the Town Hall. She sat at her desk and spoke to them all very wisely. Dayna introduced a new policy to Coylton.

Lately there had been one problem in Coylton. Too much mail was being delivered at the one time and Pete the postman was struggling. Dayna summoned everyone she thought important in the situation to her office at the Town Hall.
At the meeting there was Isabelle, Pete, Pelly and Phyllis. "Do not worry any more Pete we shall beat the mail disorder through paperwork. Because there is too much mail being delivered at the one time, it is necessary to create an entirely new policy and with your permission Pete, Pelly and Phyllis, I want to call it 'The mail cycle' " Dayna started.
Everyone agreed. "Whatever we can do to help" Pelly smiled.
"But you must be careful" Phyllis started. "Before I worked in Coylton, the town I used to work in, it's mail got easily disordered". Dayna nodded but explained the new idea.
"Pete shall be listed as supervisory director with no responsibilities except delivering the mail. Pelly shall take over day-to-day operations along with Phyllis. It shall be a completely modern policy. All strictly legal. On paper the old mail order won't exist" Dayna grinned.
Dayna also started hanging out with her two Coylton best friends Skye and Poppy. They would hang out every day! They would go to the beach, to Club LOL, to each other's houses, everywhere!
Dayna and her friends still hung out together. Dayna would also spend a lot of time with K.K. Dayna was often asked by K.K what her family were like but she said she didn't want them to embarrass her. And it's true, she didn't. Moving to another town was something Dayna had always wanted to do.

K.K and Dayna walked along Main Street one night holding hands. They sat on the bench at the end Kicks shoe shop was at. They sat on the bench, looking at the stars, Moon and out onto the sea. Dayna sat huddling into K.K while he held her really tight towards him.
"It's beautiful" Dayna sighed while looking amazed at the stars. K.K pointed to a star that was really bright and stood out from quite a lot of the others. "See that star? It's name's Dayna" K.K smiled. Dayna looked at him "That's ridiculous" Dayna said breaking away from K.K.
K.K handed Dayna a piece of paper signed by Celeste, the owner of Coylton's observatory. "It is now. Here's a certificate to prove it" K.K smiled. Dayna was amazed she looked at him with amazement. "You named a star after me?" Dayna asked. "W...Wow" Dayna stuttered.
Dayna then cuddled back into K.K. Dayna was then handed a camera by K.K. Dayna excitedly took a picture of the star surrounded by other beautiful stars.
Dayna gave the camera back to K.K. K.K then pulled Dayna towards him even more. So close in fact, the two ended up kissing on the lips! The kiss gave Dayna a feeling like no other! She had her first kiss! She was just so happy!

Dayna and K.K had arranged their first date. The two met outside Dayna's house. The two set off for Club LOL. The two sat in the VIP suite and talked. They started to get to know each other.
All of a sudden, K.K got up and said he had to go somewhere but Dayna should stay and watch the show. Dayna stayed behind and watched the show. All of a sudden, K.K walked on stage dressed in a tuxedo. Everyone went wild.
K.K stood on stage and sung pop, R&B and jazz songs that got everyone on the dance floor. K.K even sung the song that he wrote for Dayna and everyone turned to the VIP suite and clapped when K.K ended saying "For my beautiful girlfriend, Dayna". Dayna sat and cried with happiness.
This date was better than her first with Rudy!

The next day it was boiling hot so Dayna went to sit in the shade of the Town Tree at the plaza and K.K was there again. "Still working?" Dayna asked. "Got to write a few more lyrics and get the hang to a few more chords" K.K smiled.
"What's your name?" K.K asked. "Oh I'm Dayna" Dayna smiled. "The Mayor?" K.K asked. Dayna nodded. "Wow" K.K was stunned. Dayna started to smile but then frowned and turned her head. "What's the matter?" K.K asked. "Oh nothing it's just... I split up with my boyfriend Rudy not long ago and... I'm still not over it yet" Dayna confessed.
"Don't be upset though. I've been on tons of dates and they've ALL ended in disaster" K.K said. "Why what happened?" Dayna asked. "I've wrote ten. My hair caught fire. Last one my date was my long lost sister" K.K joked. "Those are fake dates. You've wrote ten songs about disastrous dates" Dayna told him. "Fake dates, real dates, they're all rubbish" K.K admitted.
"No they're not. They're romantic. Every girl dreams about her first date. And that special moment with that special guy" Dayna smiled. "Then he gets hit on the head with a faulty disco ball. Song number 6" K.K joked. Dayna giggled. "You're actually quite funny" Dayna admitted.
Later that day, Dayna walked past the plaza and she heard K.K playing his guitar and singing. "I met a girl. She was perfect for me. Guess her name. It's not Elizabeth or Leilani. Her name is Dayna. She is as sweet as a dove. I knew the moment we met. We'd be in love" K.K sung.

Eventually 2 new residents moved in to Coylton to replace Lionel and Rudy. The 2 new residents were Poppy the squirrel and Zell the deer. However let's start this part.
One day Dayna went walking around town. She thought about deciding to take a break from the sun and sit under the now fully grown sapling she planted when she became Mayor. However under the tree sat a white dog playing a guitar. Dayna walked over and looked at him. It was K.K Slider! The performing sell-out!
K.K stopped playing his guitar and looked at Dayna.
"Hi" K.K said. "Hi... You're K.K Slider the dog, that everyone loves" Dayna smiled. "Was that you playing?" Dayna asked. K.K Slider smiled. "It's tune for my latest song that I want to release" K.K told her. "You're the first person to hear it" K.K smiled. "I want it to be different from my normal stuff. Sorry if it disappointed you" K.K frowned.
Dayna giggled. "It didn't" Dayna smiled. "I liked it. It was good. I loved it like how I love your normal stuff" Dayna smiled. K.K grinned. "Well I got to go. I promised Poppy I'd meet her so we could play on the beach but I... I... I'll see you again sometime" Dayna smiled. K.K waved her goodbye and Dayna then waved before she ran to the beach to meet Poppy.

However Dayna's happiness would soon end. Rudy arranged to move to a different town. Dayna arranged a meeting at the Roost so she could try and persuade Rudy to change his mind.
The two sat and talked while drinking coffee. "I just don't think it's a good idea for me to move" Dayna admitted. "You used to think it was" Rudy told her. "I know..." Dayna started. "Babylon's mayor is looking for a secretary. I'll start my apprenticeship and we can just share a house and..." Rudy said. Dayna butted in right away.
"I like it here!" Dayna started. "We can arrange to meet each other every weekend" Dayna tried to smile. Rudy got serious. "You do know distant relationships rarely work" Rudy told Dayna. Dayna had tears in her eyes. "If you stay here..." Rudy started and sighed. "We're breaking up" Rudy frowned. Dayna started sobbing. "I know" Dayna cried.
Rudy got up and left and Dayna sat and sobbed. She and Rudy broke up. Rudy eventually moved out and Lionel the lion moved out as well.

Dayna got dressed and ready excitedly as it was her first date with Rudy. Dayna had been buzzing about the date all week and it was finally here!
Dayna met Rudy at the Town Plaza and Rudy led Dayna to the destination. The date was to take place in the Roost, the town's café.
The two sat and talked. They had just a normal date in the café with Brewster, the owner of the café being cheery. Rudy escorted Dayna home and the two parted.

Dayna left for Rudy's house and he greeted her. The two sat talking until Rudy had something to say. "Listen Dayna, since I met you, I have admired you so much. I just want to ask you something" Rudy started.
"Okay..." Dayna said. "Listen will you be my girlfriend?" Rudy asked with all of his courage. Rudy just hoped for the best. "Rudy... in every language... oui, si, yah, yes!" Dayna smiled. The two then jumped up and down and hugged each other. Dayna was in a relationship!

One Friday night, Dayna invited her friend Skye the wolf from Coylton to come to Dayna's mansion. Skye arrived at 6pm and Dayna let her in. Skye pressed a button on the door entry system which connected to a phone in Dayna's house to let Skye in. It was quite clever.
Skye and Dayna sat watching cartoons and talking. "What are you doing tomorrow night?" Dayna asked.
"I'm going to Club LOL with Tammy. You can come too" Skye smiled. Dayna thought. "Well... I've never been in a club before. My family didn't trust me going out with friends at night" Dayna frowned. "Yes but you're family isn't here, you've got a new life! You can do what you like!" Skye convinced her. Dayna agreed to go with Skye and Tammy.
The next night it was Saturday. Dayna put on a nice navy lace dress, some black leggings, black dress socks and some flat blue shoes. Dayna met Skye and Tammy outside her mansion.
The three linked arms and walked to Club LOL. The three entered the club. The music made them dance and sing their hearts out. Eventually a gorilla called Al walked up to Dayna.
"Excuse me Miss Mayor but do you and your friends want a table in the VIP area?" Al asked. Dayna and her friends were led by Al to the Mayor suite. It was like a balcony with a sofa around it and a table in the middle. Dayna and her friends ate nibbles, drunk fizzy drinks and sat in their suite and watched.
At points they went down to the dance floor. Dayna danced until Rudy the cat came up to her.
"Hey" Rudy smiled. "Hey" Dayna smiled back. "Want to dance?" Rudy asked. "Sure why not?" Dayna smiled. All of a sudden, Dr Shrunk the DJ announced over the microphone
"Okay now I've decided that it's time to take it down a little and turn from fast to slow".
Dayna and Rudy started to waltz and do a nice slow dance while everyone stood aside and watched.
When the dance finished, Rudy asked Dayna: "Listen do you want to come to my house tomorrow night?". Dayna accepted and everyone stood clapping and saying "Awwwww".

Dayna climbed the stairs at the side of the building up to Shampoodle's front door. Dayna put her hand on the door knob and entered. She was surprised at what she saw. She was greeted by a pink poodle dressed like a hairdresser obviously.
"Hi. You must be Mayor Dayna! Welcome to the one and only Shampoodle! I'm Harriet!" Harriet smiled. Dayna smiled back. "Hi Harriet. I'd love to get my hair done please" Dayna sat down in a chair in front of the mirror. Harriet stood beside Dayna.
"Okay toots. What colour do you want your hair?" Harriet asked. Dayna thought. "I think I'd like to try... pink!" Dayna confirmed. "Okay! Now what sort of style do you want?" Harriet asked. "Mostly casual, partially formal" Dayna told her. "Okay I think I'll be able to wrap this up. What sort of look is it you're looking for?" Harriet asked finally. "A look that's pretty and stylish" Dayna finished.
"Okay! Let's turn that old style of yours to the trend for you!" Harriet squeaked. Harriet then pressed a button on a yellow hair dryer looking device. The hair dryer thing covered Dayna's head. After a few seconds it popped off. Dayna looked in the mirror with joy. She now had pink hair that was in a nice pony tail. Exactly what she wanted.

The next day, Dayna went into Coylton and she put a message around saying meet her by the Town Plaza. Dayna and the villagers sat around the plot containing Dayna's sapling. Dayna met and became friends with all of the villagers. Dayna also got to know the three new villagers too.
The three new villagers were called: Lionel, Rudy and Tammy. Dayna and the villagers spent the day on the beach, at the Jungle Gym and at the Plaza. Dayna and her villagers became best friends forever!!!!
The three new villagers were called: Lionel, Rudy and Tammy. Dayna and the villagers spent the day on the beach, at the Jungle Gym and at the Plaza. Dayna and her villagers became best friends forever!!!!
Part 7
Dayna phoned Isabelle and said she wouldn't come into the Town Hall for a few days as she wants to experience life in Coylton she created. Dayna walked along Main Street and thought about going shopping. Dayna walked into the Able Sisters clothes shop.
Mabel, one of the porcupines working there gasped.
"OH! Mayor Dayna! Welcome. Feel free to shop and browse" Mabel smiled. Dayna walked around and bought three tops and 1 pair of trousers. "Oh thank you Mayor Dayna. You don't know how it feels having the Mayor shopping in our humble little shop" Mabel smiled. Dayna smiled back. She, Mabel and Sable (the porcupine that sewed and stitched the clothes) sat talking.
Sable was usually very quiet but in front of Dayna she opened up. "Wow sis! You never talk like that around the customers" Mable was surprised.
"I don't want Mayor Dayna to think I'm rude by not talking" Sable confessed. All of a sudden Label, Mabel and Sable's sister who owned the accessory shop next door entered.
"Oh Mayor Dayna! Welcome!" Label smiled. Dayna bought accessories too and she left. Dayna also bought socks and shoes from Kicks' shoe shop. Dayna put her stuff away at home and left the Able sisters happy as ever!

A few days after settling in, Digby picked up Dayna in his taxi and drove her to the town hall. Dayna sat down at the Mayor's desk. Isabelle came over and explained Dayna's Mayor duties. "Dayna, to start public work projects you need a Mayor's development permit. Luckily I've organised that for you so you can start Public work projects!" Isabelle smiled.
Dayna started work. She ordered for a new cobblestone bridge, a bench overlooking the sea and Jungle Gym to be built in town. To collect funds, Dayna held fundraising events inviting Mayors of other towns and villagers from other towns to visit.

Dayna's new house came into sight. It was a mansion! It was modern and had a nice front garden. It also came with quite a large driveway too. Dayna used the gold key to unlock the front door. Dayna stepped inside and the mansion was empty. "You may want to decorate it yourself" Isabelle smiled.
She handed Dayna 12,000,000 Bells. Dayna was nearly about to faint. "Just to get you started" Isabelle smiled. She left and let Dayna get started. Dayna dashed to the shops and bought tons of stuff! She bought wallpaper, wooden flooring, the furniture from the Gracie series, things to decorate her front and back gardens and much more!

Isabelle and the villagers led Dayna to the Town Plaza. In the middle was a giant square plot buried into the ground, surrounded by a small brick wall. Isabelle and Dayna climbed onto the compost and Dayna was handed a shovel. Dayna dug a hole and planted a sapling inside it. All of a sudden, Digby, a grey dog wearing a red blazer, yellow tie and black trousers arrived with a camera and took a picture of Dayna with the newly planted sapling.
"I'll print out that picture and send it too you Miss Mayor" Digby smiled and ran off with his camera. "Oh Miss Mayor, I remember in my file that your name is Dayna isn't it?" Isabelle asked. Dayna nodded. Dayna shook hands with all of the villagers. Afterwards Isabelle and Dayna took hands again. "There is something else too!" Isabelle chuckled.
The two strolled up to the level crossing and crossed over to Main Street in other words, the shopping district. "On Main Street you can find the shops: T.I.Y, The Able Sisters, Kicks, Shampoodle and Nooks Homes. You can also find the Coylton Museum, Coylton's Post Office, Club LOL and the photo booth" Isabelle explained. Isabelle then walked to wooden gates looking out onto Main Street.

She took out a gold key that had a black key ring on it. She held the black key ring in front of the door entry system and the gates opened automatically. She dropped the key into Dayna's hand. "Welcome to your new home" Isabelle grinned.

Dayna stayed on the train for two days. Most passengers spent the final hours of the second day on the train sleeping. Dayna slept that night on the train and eventually arrived at her new town.
Dayna stepped off the train. She turned to the conductor at the train station.
"What is this town called?" Dayna asked.
"Oh hello! I'm Porter. Welcome to the lovely town of Coylton!" Porter smiled. Dayna thanked him and left the train station. Outside she was greeted by a yellow dog who looked like a Shih Tzu and was dressed like a secretary and all of the villagers of Coylton. The villagers were Chow, Pippy, Skye, Beau and Pecan.
"On behalf of the Coylton villagers, I am pleased to welcome you as Mayor!" The dog grinned and everybody started clapping for Dayna! "Hello. I'm Isabelle your secretary. Welcome Miss Mayor" Isabelle grinned again. Dayna was confused. "What? I'm Mayor? How is that possible? This is my first time here! What's going on?" Dayna asked all of these questions at Isabelle.
"Well you're Mayor according to us. It's in my file and everything! Our old Mayor Tortimer was searching through records of people he could appoint as his successor when he retired from his Mayor job. And according to the records of Helsheild school, you were one of the best students there so Tortimer appointed you his successor" Isabelle smiled. She then frowned "But he forgot to write to you and tell you" Isabelle frowned.
Dayna understood now. "Okay. So I am Mayor. What do I have to do first?" Dayna asked. Isabelle held out her hand. "If you'd like to come with me" Isabelle and Dayna took hands and strolled off with the rest of the Coylton villagers.

When Dayna had been 13 for six months, Dayna decided to find a new place to live. Dayna didn't really own anything except her school things but she had left school so she didn't need to take them with her to her new home.
Dayna took with her the only good clothes she had just recently bought and nothing else. Dayna left the Pemreen train station with her family waving goodbye.

Dayna wondered why she had friends. She thought she was hideous as her mum made her keep the same hairdo and bought her the ugliest clothes you can imagine. Besides that wasn't the only thing Dayna hated. She hated her home town. Like most girls, Dayna came from a small town but had big dreams.
Dayna's hometown was a town called Pemreen. It was nothing! Nothing but a few houses, one shop that was literally blue mouldy, (go there if you want to make your own penicillin!), a filthy river that would make you be sick if you stood 20 yards near it and nothing else! Dayna didn't even know how her family could even live here! Besides Dayna didn't really understand her family!
First there was her mum Bailey and her dad Scott. Then there was her grandmother Geezie, her brother Brett and her grandmother's third husband, Sawyer. They all lived together in a three bedroom house. In fact it was more of a shack than a house. The grown ups shared one room and Bret and Dayna got their own rooms. Brett and Dayna were very lucky for that opportunity.
There was the usual things in the house that would happen. As Pemreen was poor (because Mayor Grizelda spent all of the town's money on things for herself), food was in quite short supply so Dayna and her family would have to share one vegetable pie between six people. No wonder they were all so slim. They had to form a line to take baths too. Dayna or Brett took a bath first as they were quicker and Geezie always went in last as she was older and slower.
Dayna was lucky to go to school. Brett was educated by Sawyer at home but Dayna travelled by train to Helsheild and attended the local school there. Because Dayna knew Thomas the ticket master at the train station in Pemreen. He let her get her ticket for free as he knew the conditions the people of Pemreen were living in.
Dayna usually travelled to Helsheild to see her friends there too.
